Monkey see, monkey do

Monkey see, monkey do is the usual banality.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I can’t remember- but how do you wipe your ass?
Wait- please forgive me, I don’t mean to be crass!

We can always learn from each other. Are you right
Or left handed? I hope you clean from behind. Quite!

Only humans have evolved to be able to teach.
Monkeys, try as they might, have not learned speech!

So tell me, do you squat or sit on porcelain throne?
Do you humbly release, or strain to command: “done”?

Don’t gesticulate with such simian confusion:
This is a straightforward and ordinary question!

Darvish can’t remember such a dull-witted lot.
Sometimes, even the bright and quick can’t be taught.
